Common Procedures
Baker and Graham provides a wide variety of preventative and restorative dental treatments to keep your smile healthy for years to come. Here are some of our most common treatments and procedures.
Preventive Care
Preventative dental care is essential for everyone. By practicing good oral hygiene at home and scheduling regular checkups with your dentist, you can help keep your smile bright and healthy for many years to come. Here are our most common preventative treatments, as well as a few simple ways that you can manage your oral health at home.
Gum Disease
Gum disease, also known as periodontal disease, is an infection of the gums surrounding your teeth. Gum disease is one of the top reasons for tooth loss in adults, and because it is virtually pain-free, many patients do not know they have the disease. During each regular checkup, your dentist will check for signs of periodontal disease by measuring the space between your teeth and gums.
Sedation Dentistry
Complex dental treatments such as root canals, extractions, and oral surgery, although common, can be a great source of anxiety for many patients. At Baker and Graham, we are committed to providing a worry-free experience for all of our patients and are pleased to provide the option of comfortable, safe, and effective sedation dentistry.
Endodontic Therapy
Root canals, also known as endodontic therapy, are a relatively painless treatment which aims at clearing infection as well as protecting the tooth from subsequent infections. This is a fairly common procedure, but one that causes a good bit of anxiety for many patients. Baker and Graham specializes in performing these procedures quickly, safely, and without pain.
Emergency Treatment
Regular dental care helps prevent dental emergencies, but nothing can stop the unexpected from happening. Here are some of the more common dental emergencies and what you can do until you can get to our office. If you are in pain, DO NOT wait to make an appointment. We will be happy to see you as soon as possible. If this is an after-hours emergency, please call our emergency line.
